Job Responsibilities
- Keep materials moving by sorting them based on type, condition, and destination.
- Prepare sorted materials for storage, shipment, or further use as needed.
- Utilize hand tools, conveyor belts, or forklifts to move and manage materials.
- Properly dispose of unusable materials and contribute to recycling efforts.
- Maintain a tidy and safe workspace to prevent slowdowns and hazards.
- Label and record sorted materials to ensure accurate system tracking.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
