Job Description
Summary
The Pricing Manager will beresponsible for developing and executing pricing strategies for a company's products or services, analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to determine optimal price points that maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining market competitiveness, often collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor and assist the Pricing team with individual responsibilities
- Work with executive team on special initiatives
- Develop pricing strategies
- Ensure price changes are implemented as received from manufacturers
- Work with pricing team, purchasing and manufacturer representatives to establish pricing to capture and grow business with new and existing customers.
- Assist Sales teams with pricing strategy and analysis
- Execute data analysis using SQL, Business Intelligence, PriceFx, Excel and other database tools.
- Drive incremental profit through regional and national pricing initiatives
- Track and measure category performance (sales, margin, etc).
