Integrative Therapies, a locally-owned physical therapy and wellness business serving North Carolina for over 25 years, is seeking a full time front office coordinator, our Director of First Impressions, to join our Greensboro team. As a patient-focused private practice, we like to take care of our employees, who in turn take fantastic care of our patients. This is an hourly position including benefits after 90 days.
As the front office coordinator you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communicate effectively with our staff and patients, and be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will support the administrative logistics of the clinic by interfacing with patients & customers, developing & maintaining customer relations, and coordinating with the clinic staff to ensure patient requests are handled promptly.
In this role, you will report to our clinic director and provide administrative support by:
- Creating positive first impressions with all patients/customers and providing outstanding customer service.
- Scheduling patient appointments using a web-based system.
- Performing data entry of protected health information through an EMR platform.
- Collecting and documenting patient payments and verifying insurance benefits.
- Maintaining all clinic correspondence including operating a multi-line phone system, as well as responding to email and fax correspondence.
- Sharing and filing medical records and other sensitive documents as needed while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Preparing and making weekly bank deposits.
- Maintaining order and organization of the front office areas.
- Demonstrating knowledge of our business, operating procedures, and protocols.

Required

Preferred
- Knowledge of medical office procedures including use of web-based EMR platform.
- Knowledge of basic medical coding and third-party payer operating procedures and practices.
- Experience in customer service or medical office administration.
- Medical office experience: 1 year strongly preferred
Education: High school or equivalent (required)
Pay Rate: Between $15.00-17.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00
