ABOUT THE ROLE
Bartenders prepare and serve beverages and food to guests. With extensive knowledge of common drinks, cocktails, beers, and wines, you will be in charge of managing drink orders at our hotel. Bartenders take food & drink orders and serve guests in a high volume lounge-restaurant. Earn great tips.
Essential Duties:
- Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
- Ability to bend, reach, and repeat motions.
- Ability to lift stock up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Specific Requirements of this role:
- Mix and serve alcohol and non-alcohol drinks for guests following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions.
- Serve alcohol beverages responsibility, request identification, and adhere to all company alcohol service policies and procedures.
- Enter drink orders into the POS system, collect payment from guests for drinks served, and make correct change.
- Complete sales and inventory reports accurately.
- Maintain bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies.
- Clean and store bar equipment and bar stock.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- At least 1 year of bartender front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant required; hotel experience preferred.
- Bartender school experience preferred.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
