Example of Duties
Concessionaire- works in the Concession Stand:
- collects fees for firewood,
- sells concession items,
- keeps inventory, and,
- maintains and cleans concession stand and entrance hut.
- Must be able to operate a cash register, provide change and complete paperwork to balance the assigned money drawer at the end of their shift.
Park Attendant - performs overall maintenance of the park or golf course :
- cuts grass using heavy duty equipment,
- collects/dumps refuse/garbage,
- cleans restrooms and pit toilets,
- paints, and,
- maintains tools and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications
Essential Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
- Ability to effectively interact with sensitivity with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial, ethnic, and professional backgrounds, and persons of all ages and lifestyles.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to safely operate equipment necessary to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to accurately count and handle money, and operate a cash register.
- Ability to withstand exposure to variable and unfavorable weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push/pull, and lift up to 10-20 lbs, on an occasional basis.
You must meet these Minimum Training and Experience requirements:
- 14 years of age.
- 8th grade education.
