Human Resource Assistant (Part-time)
This is a part-time position (flexible hours per week).
ROLE:
This role coordinates and administers a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR activities. With direct supervision by HR Management or Senior HR professionals this position will coordinate or administer various aspects of the organization s compensation and benefit, recruitment, training, organization development, and employee relations programs. The position will operate in and be responsible for more than one of these areas and perform many of the same activities as professionals that specialize in these individual HR functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accommodate employee questions, concerns and/or complaints
- Facilitates internal training including new hire orientation and various internal training programs
- Distributes and processes outgoing and incoming hourly and salary performance evaluations, transfers, and 90 day transfer follow-ups
- Performs monthly system comparison audits
- Processes all hourly terminations
- Processes all written and verbal VOE s (Verification of employment)
- Processes and distributes monthly production schedules and internal/external job postings
- Applicant Tracking System Implementation
- Monitors and updates ePortal
- Is responsible for maintaining very confidential information and protecting its security
- Performs various clerical and statistical assignments related to personnel functions
- In charge of reviewing and updating job descriptions for all locations
- SAP and Lawson master data entry and maintenance:
- Addresses
- New-Hires
- Bank details
- W-4 changes
- All verbal, written, and final written warnings
- Runs various reports and updates when needed, including:
- Yearly employee information updates
- Weekly payroll hire, rehire, and term reports
- Monthly safety reporting
- Monthly birthday and seniority reporting
- New-hire reports
- Headcount reports
- Absenteeism reports
- Annual EEO reports
- Annual Veteran 100 reports
- Performs many functions that requires self-starting and correction, while also performing a wide variety of routine assignments:
- Updating attendance records
- Processing wage increases
- Filing all information on active, retired, and terminated employees
- Verifies ACH information for accounting for expense checks
- Processes medical child support orders
- Huber schedules
- Document and review DWI s and QP s
- Holiday/Birthday Pay
- Demonstrate consistent ability to meet our customer quality specifications as defined in your process
