WITNESS SPECIALIST – Lamoreaux Justice Center
Victim Assistance Programs - Lamoreaux Justice Center. Orange. F/T, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for placing witnesses (subpoenaed by the District Attorney’s Office) on call and keeping them apprised of the status/disposition of the case.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in behavior science, criminal justice or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the criminal justice system.
- Two years of related experience working with people in a human services setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population.
- Valid California driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a reliable automobile.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Salary : $46,800 - $59,200
