Open Position: Part-time Estimating Assistant
Our Estimating team plays an integral role in our process. Working with completed prints, the team establishes budgets and material lists for the construction of a new home. Experience is helpful, but we will provide training for this position. Consider joining our talented Estimating team today!
Duties
- Primary focus on energy analysis of homes to ensure code is met
- Use blueprints and contracts to produce accurate energy assessments
- Follow Wayne Homes’ estimating standards
- Learn to use various software, including BuilderMT
- Continuously learn the different elements of the construction process
- Work hand-in-hand with our CAD, Operations and Construction teams
Qualifications
- Detail Oriented
- Competent with computers and Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable working in group and independent settings
- Self-motivated
This position has a flexible working schedule working up to 25 hours a week with the potential to become full-time in the future. Following training, work from home is available. Hourly wage based on knowledge and experience; to be discussed.
Salary : $18 - $20
