JOB SUMMARY: The Director, Client Engagement is a strategic leader responsible for managing and developing an inside sales team, focusing on developing sales strategies, implementing effective sales techniques and training to enhance team performance and drive sales growth. The director plays a critical role in setting targets, managing resources, and ensuring the team aligns with the company’s overall sales objectives. They actively monitor sales performance using analytics and CRM tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This position works closely with Sales leadership and Marketing to ensure client engagement initiatives are aligned with company sales initiatives.

- Contributes to overall inside sale targets by identifying and qualifying top funnel sales leads.
- Responsible for day-to-day management and development of client engagement team.
- Manages trends and conversion rates.
- Develops and refines the team’s sales pitch.
- Builds and coaches a high-performing sales team.
- Provides ongoing training and mentoring.
- Monitors analytics and dashboards for improved decision-making and opportunity identification.
- Works closely with Marketing and Sales Operations for operational success.
- Leads a results-driven culture within the team.
- Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources.
- Qualifies leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
- Tracks weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
- Builds and manages sales pipelines.
- Maintains database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.
- Looks for process improvements in sales administration process.
- Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products.
- Research and discovers innovative methods to increase customer engagement.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
Qualifications/Experience
- 5 years’ experience in inside sales or other related sales position (outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience
- A minimum of 2 years leading others directly or indirectly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
- In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
- Strong Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM

Salary : $89,400 - $125,000
