My client are a leading construction and development firm specializing in commercial design and build, federal building projects, retail locations, dealerships, and affordable housing. Our team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our Cincinnati, Ohio office.

Position Overview:

As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, analyzing blueprints and technical documents, and collaborating with project managers to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction and understands the intricacies of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation to determine time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate project risks.
• Review and refine estimates throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with budgets and schedules.

Requirements:

✅ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator in the U.S.

✅ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a U.S. institution (required).

✅ Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, building codes, and industry standards.

✅ Proficiency with estimating software (such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms).

✅ Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience estimating for commercial, retail, or federal building projects.
• Strong vendor and subcontractor relationships
