Job Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing, shipping, and receiving products. They ensure all orders are packed, labeled, and shipped accurately, while also handling incoming materials and maintaining inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Package and label products for shipment.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipping.
- Weigh, wrap, and stage products for delivery.
- Complete shipping paperwork.
- Inspect products for accuracy and damage.
- Receive incoming materials and update records.
- Help with inventory checks.
- Operate a forklift to move materials.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Assist with production tasks as needed.
Skills & Requirements:
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stay organized and solve problems.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to follow safety rules.
- Knowledge of basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
