About the Facility
- Two 24-bed adult units and one 12-bed adolescent unit
- Reports to COO, with dotted-line reporting to DCNE and CNO
- Highly collaborative leadership team, working alongside the COO and AVP of Nursing Operations
- Opportunity to implement strategic initiatives in a dynamic healthcare setting
- Team of ~100 professionals, including 2 nurse managers, house supervisors, clinical nurse coordinators (CNCs), floor staff, and mental health techs
What You'll Do
- Lead and support nursing operations in an inpatient behavioral health hospital setting
- Ensure compliance with behavioral health regulations and best practices in patient care
- Oversee ER throughput for behavioral health patients, facilitating smooth transitions from emergency to inpatient care
- Develop and mentor nursing staff while fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive clinical and operational excellence
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in an inpatient behavioral health hospital or a behavioral health unit within an acute care hospital (not residential/addiction centers)
- In-depth knowledge of behavioral health patient care regulations and best practices
- Expertise in ER-to-BH patient transfer processes and hospital-wide throughput optimization
- Ability to implement strategies within a given framework while fostering teamwork and innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related health science field required (or proof of enrollment with a written plan for completion)
- 5 years of nursing leadership experience, with at least 3 of the last 5 years in a direct hospital leadership role
- Active, unrestricted RN license required

Salary: $130K - $155K bonus relocation
