Major Duties and Responsibilities The Vice Principal shall perform such administrative duties as may be assigned by the District Superintendent or designee. Such responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Assists the Principal in the development and operation of the school program. Assists the Principal and teachers in developing acceptable student behavior standards. Assists in implementing procedures for counseling of students. Assists in the administration of the District testing program. Assists in the development and implementation of the District’s curriculum. Assumes the responsibility for the operation of the school during the absence of the Principal. Assists with supervision of student activities, including student body finances, student government, and special student activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Job Functions See and read a computer screen and printed matter with or without vision aids. Hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone with or without hearing aids. Speak so that others may understand at normal levels and on the telephone. Sit, stand, walk, twist, bend over, grasp, reach overhead, stoop, kneel, push, pull and move, lift and/or carry 0 to 25 pounds to waist height. Work Conditions Employees in this position will be required to work indoors in a classroom environment consisting of tables, chairs, orthopedic devices and playground equipment; work in an outside environment; come in direct contact with students, parents, district staff and the public.
Appropriate credential required by the Commission of Teacher Preparation and Licensing. Administrative Services Credential Bilingual Spanish / Hmong preferred. Letter of Introduction Resume 3 Letters of Recommendation
