Weber Gallagher has an opening for an experienced defense litigation paralegal for our Scranton, PA, office. Qualified candidates should have experience with medical malpractice, general liability and professional liability cases. Qualified candidates must be familiar with daily time entry billing requirements, and have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. Candidates must have experience reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical records. Must have experience with Pennsylvania law. Willing to work on cases from start to finish and meet all court deadlines. Experience with trial preparation preferred. Ability to work with other attorneys, paralegals, clients, and experts with a team approach. Ability to perform research through Lexis is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. A Certificate in Paralegal Studies from an ABA approved organization or a bachelor’s degree is also required.
