Weber Gallagher has an immediate opening for a full-time Scheduler/Calendar Clerk who is proactive and anticipatory for our New York office, conveniently located near Times Square. Hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all facets of the New York court calendar, including court appearances, motions, depositions, and client meetings
- Promptly circulate changes or updates in schedules to all parties involved
- Manage and review emailed court notices to enter schedules, monitor and track deadlines for legal filings, responses, and other time-sensitive tasks
- Daily coordination and communication with attorneys and staff for calendar related issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Assist legal assistants and paralegals with projects
Qualifications
- Law firm experience and familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and motion practice processes
- Experience with NY court systems, eCourts, eTrack
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; Excel skills a plus
- Be able to efficiently multitask with high-level attention to detail, and superior written and oral communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred; additional legal coursework or certification is a plus
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to think clearly and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of staff

The salary range for this position is $50,000 – $60,000.
