A temporary position has been declared open in the Weber School Distirct Carreer & Technical Education (CTE) Department at Weber Innovation High School for a CTE College & Career Business Liaison Adminstrative Assistant. This position is for 8.00 hours per day and will last through June 2025.

Purpose Statement:
This individual supports the CTE department by promoting Career and Technical Education programs and events K-12, serves as a business liaison for our emerging CAPS program, and organized well-planned campaigns leveraging CTE resources to inform students and parents.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing, and executing events, workshops, siminars, networking events, job fairs, and advisory board along with event-related budgets.
- Actively seeking and establishing partnerships with business, clients, community organizations for the implementation of the CAPS model & practical student experiences.
- Work under guidance and direction of CTE Coordinator and Director
- Working knowledge of a variety of Social and Professional Media platforms (LinkED In, X, Facebook/Instagram) and collaborating with teachers for posts and promotion.
- Marketing and promotion of CTE events and programs communicating with industry and community members to raise awareness of CTE programs
- Help to manage and organize school Career Fairs, Career Days, and She Tech.
- Working knowledge of CTE funding, courses, trends and Data Analytics
- Dynamic role over project Management and the ability to work independently
- Time management and listening skills to lead project management & execution.
- Facilitating collaboration with CTE team members, school counseling teams and cross-functional and curricular teams.
- Ability to motivate, lead others and to speak publicly.
- Problem Solving and customer service experience around educational initiatives
- Meeting and event organization, facilitation, execution, and project management.
- Spearhead efforts to source, find, and facilitate industry and business relationships, and strategic partnerships with CAPS-themed courses and teachers
- Serve as point of contact with industry partners and CAPS-related courses working with local CTE coordinator over CAPS to create real-world project opportunities
- Organizing and facilitating field trips to construction sites, local businesses, industry partners, educational institutions, and competitions that enhance the student experience and provide real-world exposure and relevance for students.
- Organize and run CTE Summer Camps aimed to promote skill development and promotion.
- Develop client and student onboarding materials for CAPS including project playbooks, client intake forms, and equipment checklists.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite and project management tools.
- Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- REGULAR ATTENDANCE IS A CRITICAL COMPONENT OF THIS JOB.
