Position Overview :
The Senior Category Advisor is a position on Welch's Walmart Team. This position will support the Category Development Team Lead in maintaining Best in Class Category Advisor status with Walmart.
He / she will act as the category expert in the development and implementation of the Walmart modular process for Multi-Serve Juice, as well as using Luminate and Syndicated Data to craft meaningful insights and engage our customers with collaborative Category Development.
What You'll Do :
- Display sufficient knowledge of Space Automation Pro to efficiently manage the planogram building process while maintaining / creating databases, scripts, and other tools
- Utilizes Luminate platform to analyze and discover actionable insights and develops recommendations for implementation. Provides point of view and recommended action plans
- Provides leadership, direction and consultation to the Walmart Category Buyer in support of the Buyer's Category distribution objectives, merchandising, and SKU optimization.
- Provides direction and advice to Walmart Senior Management on Consumer Insights and Market trends
- Provides weekly score carding to the Category Buyer as follows : category performance, new item performance, promotional performance, cluster performance, inventory (on-hands, in-stock %, etc.), price leadership analysis, and seasonal performance.
- Provides additional Category Advisor support for Sam's Club, including reporting and developing insights to direct and advise
- Discover & provide actionable insights supporting Walmart Sales team within categories outside Category Advisor Partnerships
- Management of Luminate & Circana data collection and attribute assignment
- Other duties may be required in support of customer and Category Development team
