Well Master Corporation is hiring a Technical Services Manager to cover the Marcellus Shale & Utica Shale Territories. This position can be based anywhere in Pennsylvania, Ohio & West Virginia (including but not limited to Pittsburgh, PA, Williamsport, PA, Clarksburg, WV).

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Technical Services Manager is a senior level technical and customer service role responsible for primarily providing dedicated support to our customers in the assigned area. Working with members of Well Master’s sales and engineering teams, the Technical Services Manager uses technical knowledge of Plunger Lift operations, products and services, manages customer relationships to achieve sales goals, and executes service plans for the assigned accounts in the area. The Technical Services Manager develops and maintains relationships with customers with a focus on maintaining and growing accounts through excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have operations and/or optimization experience with plunger lift wells and understand common operating issues as they relate to plunger lift.

REPORTING TO: Director of US Sales with direct instruction from the President/CEO

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively maintains, retains, and builds Well Master’s relationship with the customer by providing excellent customer service and educating on the benefits of Well Master products and services.
  • Supports the customer with plunger lift evaluation and optimization by determining the best product(s) for each well.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots plunger lift issues.
  • Responds to customer concerns about the company and its products and provides customer feedback on various aspects of service quality.
  • Executes action plans and service projects.
  • Completes field tickets accurately, following Well Master procedures.
  • Utilizes Customer Relationship Management tools to record / maintain customer contact data and track customer progress.
  • Travels to visit customers daily to deliver products to stock consignment inventory locations and fulfill sales orders.
  • Participates in sales meetings and continuing education to strengthen product knowledge and improve sales techniques.
  • Conducts cycle counts and maintains accurate inventory at all locations within assigned region.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND REQUIRED ABILITIES:

  • Professional presence and ability to connect, cultivate, and create lasting relationships with customers from a variety of backgrounds
  • Highly organized and self-motivated; handles multiple projects
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Adept communicator
  • Proficient with email and office applications; prior experience with electronic ticketing and CRM is a plus

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma required
  • 5 years of plunger lift operations & optimization experience required
  • Maintenance of a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record required
  • Some college preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 annually
