Job Overview
The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage a team of maintenance professionals, implement preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The Maintenance Director will also be involved in project management related to facility improvements and upgrades.
Duties
- Manage and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all facility equipment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems, high voltage equipment, and other critical infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Oversee projects related to facility upgrades or renovations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance with safety standards.
Skills
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and high voltage electrical systems.
- Experience with logic controllers and industrial maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with facilities management principles and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $21.75 - $22.86 per hour
