Wellpointe currently operates the Fresno Guest Homes, Cottages at The Colony, Irvine Cottages, and Granny’s Place residential assisted living brands in Fresno, Los Angeles, and the central & south Orange County areas of California.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Talent Management will lead the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies, performance management systems, reward systems, and learning & development programs to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent. This role is critical to ensuring that these core talent processes strategically align with Wellpointe’s ambitious growth plans. The position will focus on creating scalable programs that align with Wellpointe's mission and vision as it grows into new markets and verticals across California and the U.S.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition
- Develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy to meet diverse workforce needs across current and future geographic markets and business verticals.
- Collaborate with other leaders in the organization to understand business needs and translate them into talent initiatives.
- Develop future-oriented talent profiles and hiring roadmaps that are aligned with growth plans and the development of organizational capabilities.
- Develop and implement consistent interview processes, including skills assessments as appropriate, by role that promote identifying candidates that align with ideal talent profile.
- Responsible for the rapid development of new teams from the ground up for go-to-market scenarios involving both geographic expansion and new verticals.
Learning & Development
Create learning & development programs tailored to Wellpointe's unique operational requirements, ensuring employees at all levels of the organization are equipped to execute with excellence.Establish leadership development initiatives to prepare employees for roles with increasing levels of responsibility in support of organizational growth.Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement learning & development programs that build necessary future-state organizational capabilities.Introduce ongoing professional development opportunities to facilitate up-skilling.Performance Management
Develop and oversee a performance management framework that aligns with the organization’s growth plans and strategic objectives.Equip managers with tools and resources to provide effective and timely feedback that promotes a culture of continuous improvement.Analyze performance trends to inform and refine strategies for operational excellence across geographic markets, business units, and within departments.Ensure that performance management processes are fair, transparent, and linked to both individual performance and overall business outcomes.Collaborate with business leaders to develop, implement, and monitor impactful total rewards systems that promote a culture of growth, quality, collaboration, and achievement of overall business outcomes.Cultural Alignment
Foster a high-performing, results-driven culture that reflects Wellpointe's mission and values as it scales.Responsible for developing a values framework that can be consistently messaged to both internal stakeholders and prospective talent, forming the basis for an overall Wellpointe People brand.Ensure that Wellpointe’s values framework and performance management process are aligned.Lead initiatives to promote engagement and retention, ensuring a positive workplace environment across the organization.Reporting & Analytics
Implement analytics-driven recruitment strategies and KPIs to monitor and optimize talent processes.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to evaluate success and drive continuous improvement of talent processes.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in relevant Org. Development field; MHR or other business-related advanced degree preferred.7 years of experience in talent management and related activities, such as recruiting, learning & development, and performance management.Talent management or related experience in high-growth or multi-site organizations preferred.Demonstrated ability to scale talent strategies and processes to support growth.Exceptional communication, analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.Work Environment & What We Offer :
