About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Leadership Specialist to spearhead the operations of our Sealant and Restoration division at Wells.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional teams to excel in delivering sealants and restoration services
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Oversee financial management for the region, encompassing profit and loss accountability
- Partner with the Vice President to establish strategic objectives that align with company-wide goals
- Develop and execute budgets to meet regional revenue and profit targets
- Prepare capital expenditure forecasts up to three years ahead
- Manage fleet vehicles, project manager vehicles, company drivers, and new vehicle acquisitions
- Establish best practices for operational excellence, including policy development and goal setting
- Create and track metrics for regional market success in project management, sales, and estimating
- Support direct reports' professional growth through internal and external training initiatives
- Collaborate with HR to forecast human resource needs and set targets in strategic plans and budgets
- Develop a process for client engagement and identify key clients for focused growth efforts
- Discover emerging markets aligned with our existing business in sealants, restoration, and precast
- Offer assistance to project teams on high-risk project problem-solving
- Manage contracts for the region
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risk
Essential Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills for interacting with colleagues, supervisors, and managers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Thorough understanding of construction safety and OSHA regulations
- Able to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Prior experience in managing large and complex projects is advantageous
- Professional demeanor and integrity in leading a team
- Motivated and self-driven approach to completing tasks
- Expertise in joint sealants, waterproofing, air barrier systems, masonry/concrete restoration, and firestopping
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace changes aimed at becoming Best-in-Class
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
