Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse - Acute Float
Job Specialty : Registered / Licensed - Inpatient
Job Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : Day Shift 6 : 45 AM - 7 : 15 PM, Every other weekend, 2 major and 2 minor holidays
Guaranteed Hours : Not specified
Experience : Less than 1 year, completion of accredited / approved school of nursing with required clinical hours. Direct patient care experience preferred.
License : RN - Single State or Multi-state Compact
Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have : Ability to read, write, and speak English. Basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and manage emergencies decisively and respectfully. Excellent time management skills. Evidence-based and analytical skills with strong critical thinking.
Job Description :
- Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care.
- Deliver individualized patient care using evidence-based practices, with an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Engage in relationship-based patient-centered care, partnering with patients and significant others.
- Ensure safe, quality patient care through effective teamwork and interdisciplinary communication.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, supporting recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.
- Participate in and support performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance.
- Complete professional competency assessments and mandatory education.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified workforce.
