Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse - Acute Care
Job Specialty : Inpatient Nursing

Shift : Night, 6 : 45 pm - 7 : 15 am

Experience : Less than 1 year preferred, must have cardiac experience
License : RN - Single State or Multi-state Compact
Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have : Cardiac experience, ability to work every other weekend, and 2 major, 2 minor holidays
Job Description :
- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the delivery of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics in a manner that reflects an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate methods for setting and purpose, ensuring patient goals are the focus of the care plan.
- Practice using current clinical practice standards.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care that promotes a professional care delivery model.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration to promote a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
- Serve as a preceptor and / or mentor for other professional nurses and staff to ensure a qualified workforce.
- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement.
- Proactively plan for the care of patients across the care continuum.
- Participate in the development of protocols and procedures in collaboration with care managers and other healthcare team members.
- Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources.
- Comply with all organizational policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
