Job Description :
- Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence-based practice to ensure individualized, high-quality patient care.
- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts to population-specific characteristics while considering cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others using effective communication methods and make patients' goals the focus of the care plan.
- Coordinate safe, quality patient care delivery and documentation, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, contribute to performance improvement activities, and support shared governance.
- Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and serve as a preceptor or mentor for other professional nurses.
- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing.
- Uphold health care system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies.
- Plan proactively for patient care across the care continuum and support the development of protocols to achieve best practice outcomes.
- Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources.
Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all health system policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
