What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Assistant Part-time Weekends - WES position at Wellstone Brand?
The Intake Assistant helps incoming clients to receive the proper treatment needed. They will work closely with other intake assistants and all other staff to treat clients. This position is part-time weekends working 12-hour shifts, 7pm-7am.
We’re looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelors degree is a plus
- Previous experience in Crisis Intervention (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills to include suspense/timeframe management
- Previous medical office experience (preferred)
What you’ll be doing:
- Answer telephone calls and assess urgency of call.
- Schedule appointments.
- Provide information related to policies, procedures, insurance and services.
- Assist patients with the completion of forms.
- Maintain provider schedules.
- Investigate billing questions as needed.
- Greet clients and visitors.
- Prepare new client information and verify insurance information for clients.
- Maintain electronic medical records.
- Ensure adequate coverage of reception desk.
- Other duties as assigned.
