Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of People Services to lead and manage our People Services initiatives. The Director will be responsible for overseeing key functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation management, and leadership development. This role will be a key driver in shaping the HR strategy and enhancing the employee experience.
Must-Haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Required
- Bachelor’s degree - Required
- Five years of progressive HR/PS experience with a concentration on Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Training and Development, and Compensation Management preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and make recommendations to senior management that have major organizational impact on human and fiscal resources. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate effectively with all levels of employees in the organization.
- Must possess sufficient quantitative skills to develop and monitor budgets as well as analyze compensation and benefits data.
Nice-To-Haves:
- Master's degree - Preferred
- PHR/SPHR certification - Preferred
- Supervisory experience overseeing various HR/PS support roles preferred.
- Previous experience overseeing the employee relations of a large number of employees in a multi-site setting highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment law, CMS, OSHA, and TJC regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of organization-wide People Services functions, including recruitment, compensation/benefits, and employee relations.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory agencies and organizational requirements.
- Ensure effective management of all departmental resources, continuously assessing and improving performance.
- Develop and manage budgets, while analyzing compensation and benefits data.
- Provide leadership in policy development, training programs, and employee relations strategies.
- Foster a positive organizational culture and help develop strategies for staff development and engagement.
