What Will You Do?
The Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for leading all purchasing initiatives by providing a high level of service to meet customer expectations, maintain inventory levels, and drive the business.

Purchasing
- Responsible for overseeing all Toro and allied purchasing for over 50 different vendors.
- Backup to primary buyer on Toro and Allied purchasing.
- Responsible for inventory review and movement between the main warehouse and all other offices.
- Responsible for keeping organized and detailed files for all RGAs, vendor claims and stock transfers.
- Responsible for managing RGAs and Defective product areas.
- Responsible for updating and communicating backorders and ETAs.
- Review transfers on backorder report twice a day.
- Review allied/Toro open PO report bi-weekly.
- Run allied obsolescence returns annually.
- Coordinate Annual Returns for all vendors.
- Maintain and update Allied purchasing contact and general info spreadsheet.
- Responsible for reconciling daily issues, working with the receiving, accounting, and customer service departments.
- Responsible for managing the purchasing email queue.
- Transition into managing stock order receiving processes to include reconciliation and vendor claims.
Leadership
- Responsible for managing the purchasing team.
- Manage and maintain a weekly, monthly and annual schedule for the purchasing team.
- Manage data with EIM and update monthly.
- Maintain solid relationships and establish good communications with all vendors.
- Track fill rate for all parts lines monthly.
- Responsible for managing and reducing upcharges.
- Oversees maintenance of Allied & Toro part Buyer Queue Inquiry for all parts.
- Report and communicate all purchasing KPIs for monthly staff meetings.
- Responsible for updating and managing all SOPs.
General
- Required to keep a clean and organized workspace.
- Required to learn the Prelude inventory control system at a high level.
- Required to build and maintain working relationships and lines of communication with all associates.
- Required to promote teamwork and cooperation with all Wesco Turf associates across all departments.
- Required to improve their skills and themselves either by formal education in a related area or by on-the-job training beyond their current position.
- Requires the ability to multitask and handle stressful situations, responding to the needs of internal and external customers in a timely manner.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Must be willing and able to take and follow direction.
- Must be able to work independently.

Requirements:What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, a candidate should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma G.E.D. or equivalent
- Previous experience in a fast paced and detail-oriented position
- Previous purchasing experience – 3 years
- Previous inventory management experience plus
