Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. Experience in Real Estate, Property Management and Home Repair is a plus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for multiple companies, managing accounts receivable & payables, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. This role is essential for supporting the overall financial health of our organization and requires proficiency in various financial software, including Quick Books. Familiarity with Service Titan and Appfolio a plus. Being a Team Player with Flexibility to do whatever is needed is an absolute MUST. Duties
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts receivable/payables, including invoicing and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepare profit & loss reports for two companies and assist in corporate accounting tasks.
- Utilize financial software to track expenses, revenues, and other financial data.
- Collaborate with the public accounting team during audits and tax preparation.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Other jobs as assigned - whatever it takes to work together as a TEAM
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within corporate accounting.
- Proficiency in accounts receivable & payable management and bank reconciliation processes.
- Experience with monthly Profit & Loss reports is REQUIRED
- Familiarity with Quick Books, is REQUIRED..
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to be a Team Player and willingness to learn our business from colleagues is REQUIRED.
