What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at West Coast Dental Services?
The Human Resources Generalist performs a wide variety of tasks in all aspects of Human Resources to enhance selection, development and retention of employees; support departmental and company programs and initiatives that further the effort to achieve strategic goals; ensure accurate and consistent administration of benefits and employment policies and employment laws; prepare and analyze HR reports; and assume responsibility for on-boarding, off-boarding, employee relations, employee benefits and leave of absence administration. This position also acts in an advisory capacity to Managers and team members on matters relating to employment policies, procedures, and employee laws.

- Demonstrated knowledge of the Human Resources with a minimum 5 years of HR experience
- Knowledge of employment related and compliance legislation including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, PFL, ADA, and EEOC
- Understands applicable laws, regulations, and government requirements and their impact on the business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including written communication, executive presentations, and stand-up speaking skills; comfortable presenting to and facilitating work with all employees
- Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office Suite; Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
- Strong technical skills, experience and familiarity with HRIS; experience using ADP Workforce Now a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- HR Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Creative with a friendly and approachable character
- Preforms other duties as assigned
Salary : $66,000 - $68,000
