What are the responsibilities and job description for the Younger Toddler/Toddler Assistant Teacher position at West Hills Learning Center?
West Hills Learning Center is looking for someone who enjoys working with young children, ages 10 months through 2 1/2 years old, teaching them the skills to be independent, happy, successful learners.
Some of the position requirements are to be available and willing to:
- Work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM--6:00 PM.
- Supervise and care for children in a warm, nurturing "home-like" environment. Be willing to support the classroom by serving food/cleaning/changing diapers/etc.
- Applicants must be dependable, flexible, have the ability to take initiative and follow written and oral directions in English.
- Be comfortable communicating with parents and other staff.
- Comply with all DELC and WHLC policies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
