LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE GUIDANCE COUNSELOR
WEST SPRINGFIELD MIDDLE SCHOOL
Duties:
•Facilitating Scheduling
•Addressing student academic and social needs and providing corresponding interventions.
•Implementing guidance curriculum
•Coordinating parent conferences and Grade 5 orientation
•Facilitating standardized testing.
•Any other duties assigned by the Principal
Qualifications:
*Master’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred
*Massachusetts Guidance Counselor Certification required.
*Demonstrated proficiency in guidance skills
*Previous guidance experience desired.
Salary: $125.00/day to $153.00/day(DESE certified)
Position expected to begin August 25, 2025 and end approximately November 2025.
