Eastern Regional Jail and Correctional Facility is seeking to fill a Corrections Facility Coordinator 2 vacancy. Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent of Operations, this position plays a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the state shop and central receiving. Responsibilities include managing the issuance and accountability of inmate clothing, bedding, and institutional cleaning supplies, as well as overseeing the receipt and distribution of packages and supplies entering the facility. The position also involves supervising laundry operations, including an inmate laundry crew, and addressing offender complaints by providing guidance in assigned areas during the absence of higher authority. Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for submitting requisitions for supply replenishment, managing the acquisition and inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment essential to operations, and serving as a lead worker. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
In accordance with SPB 3088 effective 10/7/23, $5000 will be added to the minimum starting rate of pay for all classifications within a Critical Vacancy Pay Supplemental Facility. Critical Vacancy Pay Facilities: Huttonsville Correctional Center and Jail, Mount Olive Correctional Complex and Jail, Western Regional Jail and Corrections Facility, Northern Correctional Facility (including Ohio County Correctional Center), Northern Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, Chick Buckbee Juvenile Center, Vicki Douglas Juvenile Center, Potomac Highlands Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, and Eastern Regional Jail and Corrections Facility (including Martinsburg Correctional Center) (SPB 3088).
Employees in this classification shall receive an annual base building pay differential each fiscal year of $250 after completing one year of service.
If an employee is hired into a Critical Vacancy Pay Facility (CVPF) and leaves the facility, the additional pay differential of $5,000 shall be removed from their salary, unless transferring to another CVPF.

Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the area of assignment, one year of which must have been in a lead worker capacity.
