Special Hiring Rate: $74,490.00- Department of Health and Human ResourcesLocated in the Office of Epidemiology and Prevention Services, Division of STD, HIV, Hepatitis and Tuberculosis Elimination- The Epidemiologist 3 Serves as a member of Division Leadership as the Program Director of Viral Hepatitis Epidemiology and oversees the Viral Hepatitis Program for the State of West Virginia. This position oversees and manages the Viral Hepatitis Program by performing complex and highly specialized work assignments; ensuring the work of the team is carried out efficiently; supervising staff supporting viral hepatitis surveillance and epidemiology; managing viral hepatitis prevention and surveillance activities and the CDC hepatitis grant; establishing Viral Hepatitis Program priorities and resolving problems.WV remains one of the states with the highest rates of hepatitis B and C in the nation.
