Under general supervision of the Program Manager, this position performs advance level administrative oversight and coordination of the Nursing Home Program (NHP) of Office of Health Facility Licensure and Certification (OHFLAC). Facilitates problem resolution and ensures compliance with the state and federal regulations that govern the NHP. Responsible for the first level triage of complaints, which involve highly complex individual situations and sensitive legal issues that potentially have significant impact on maintaining the maximum time frames for on-site investigations. This position is responsible for processing license applications and communicating with providers regarding the processes and/or need for additional information. Communicates with state, federal and local program participants or technical area personnel to explain procedural changes, clarify guidelines, and answer general questions.
