This position will manage all aspects of the Record Retention Program for the Department of Administration and all of state government. Under general supervision, at the full-performance level, this position will plan and coordinate the Record Retention Program on a statewide basis, including identification of internal and external key stakeholders. It will be responsible for the business functions associated with the program. It will perform in-depth analysis of program financial and support needs and recommend policy and procedural modifications. Work includes developing and maintaining productive collaborative work relationships and assessing and responding to clients’ needs, interpreting and applying program policies and practices, providing consultation, and coordinating all facets of the Record Retention Program.Duties will include but are not limited to: Plan and coordinate the Record Retention Program for state governmentManage the team to coordinate the efficient and effective storage and disposal of recordsDevelop and oversee a plan to convert paper records to electronic storageDevelop and maintain collaborative working relationships with other state agencies to ensure appropriate handling of their documents*As a condition of employment, an inquiry into job-related information will be completed which may include, but not be limited to, criminal records, abuse registry records, driving records, employment history, and education and training.
