Position Summary
The Dishwasher position will aid in a smooth running prepared foods department by maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware and utensils in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Cleans kitchen equipment, food storage containers, plates, and utensils with appropriate materials
- Operates a dishwashing machine
- Keeps inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies management when supplies are low
- Looks out for and reports repair needs
- Cleans dish storage and organizes as necessary
- Maintains a clean and hazard free work space
- Assists kitchen staff as needed
- Abides by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Clear and effective communication
- Ability to organize and work efficiently
