Experienced Architecture Draftsman

WestCoast WORXX is looking for a full-time Experienced Architecture Draftsman to join our team in Sarasota, FL. If you're passionate about transforming client designs into detailed construction plans, we want to hear from you!

EXPERIENCED ARCHITECTURE DRAFTSMAN: YOUR ROLE

Your workweek will be Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while being fully immersed in our office environment, working alongside other seasoned professionals to bring our clients' visions to life.

As an Architectural Draftsman, your day will start with reviewing client designs and collaborating with engineer to ensure that every detail is captured and ready for construction. You'll spend time drafting, refining, and finalizing plans, making sure all specifications meet building codes and regulations. You will work closely with engineers and suppliers to create detailed construction plans, taking ideas from blueprint to permit-ready documents.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Must be proficient in AutoCad 14 and up
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must know how to use Microsoft Outlook
• Experience with Builder Trend is a plus
• Basic knowledge of current codes and the ability to look up said codes
• Good communication skills is a must with clients and vendors
• Must know how to interpret survery's and topo's
• Must know how to read Truss Plans
• Must be able to complete said projects in a timely manner
• 3-5 years experience preferred but not required

Experience collaborating directly with clients, architects, and engineers to create permit-ready construction plans is ideal!
