We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role with a primary focus on executing banquet functions, while also assisting in overseeing the Food and Beverage department.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee events from setup to teardown.
- Ensure the function space is visually appealing and the menu offerings are presented for each event.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all customer needs are met.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the banquet menu, food preparation, and presentation.
- Supervise events and team members throughout service.
- Guide banquet servers in setting up tables and place settings.
- Attend the weekly BEO (Banquet Event Order) meeting and remain familiar with all current and upcoming event details.
- Resolve staff and customer concerns quickly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with culinary staff before, during, and after events.
- Ensure service fees collected from each event are accurately reported and that the list of staff members to be paid via service fees is maintained.
- Close out events in the point of sale (POS) system.
- Work effectively under pressure.
- Ensure sufficient guest supplies, beverage supplies, and operating equipment are available and meet the required standards for functions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with others, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Conduct and/or lead pre-shift meetings with staff.
- Assign side work and seating charts for staff to follow for each event.
- Supervise restaurant, bar, and beverage cart staff.
- Work hourly shifts as needed.
- Responsible for closing and securing the building at the end of the night.
- Oversee the overall sanitation and cleanliness of work areas, banquet rooms, and storage areas.
- Perform additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Food and Beverage Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of experience in events and restaurants.
- Experience operating POS (Point of Sale) software.
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. Must also be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance.
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
