PURPOSE STATEMENT
Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider / nurse of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays. Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Ensure proper flow of patient throughout the clinic.
- Perform patient check in and check out.
- Instructs patients on payment requirements and collects all payments at the time of service.
- Prepare next day's charts to ensure proper referral and incoming medical information has been obtained.
- Answer all incoming calls.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform other essential duties as assigned.
- Maintain the social media accounts of the medical spa during business hours.
- Assist in developing marketing content for medical spa services with guidance from the Medical Center's Marketing team and agency.
- Responsible for responding to all requests on social media platforms in a timely manner.
- Assists in organizing and carrying out promotional events.
- Have a general understanding of skin care lines and procedures performed at the medical spa. Shift Requirements :
