ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Superintendent to lead our construction projects with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all field operations, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards while adhering to scheduled timelines and budget constraints. You will work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to drive project success and uphold our commitment to excellence.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead and manage construction teams on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols.
· Implement and enforce safety regulations and practices on the job site, conducting safety meetings each week and training as needed.
· Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Manage onsite materials, ensuring enough materials remain for project completion.
· Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
· Create strategic plans with the Project Manager, set daily expectations and goals to accomplish each day by the on-site teams.
· Conduct daily site inspections to assess project progress. Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure project alignment and resolve any potential conflicts.
· Prepare and submit detailed daily reports to project managers and stakeholders. This includes detailed project progress with photos/video, material inventory and usage, daily time sheets of hours worked by on-site teams, purchases made, material and equipment deliveries and other notable updates.
· Manage budgets and control project costs. Ensure work is completed to the required standards and within the allocated budget.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· 10 years of experience in construction management or a related field, with a proven track record in a supervisory role.
· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
· Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
· Excellent problem-solving skills, with a detailed-oriented proactive approach to project execution.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
· Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, architectural and structural plans.
· Ability to drive a trailer to support the on-site teams with materials and supplies.
· Proficient in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid)
· Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA) or equivalent.
· Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
WORK ENVIORNMENT:
· Outside environments facing adverse weather conditions at times.
· Requires proper work attire, according to safety protocols and weather conditions, proper work boots, safety gear such as hard hat, eye wear protection, safety vest and winter weather wear as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
