We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Administrator to oversee our Franklin Counseling Community Center (FCCC), inclusive of the following:
School Counseling Intervention Program (SCIP)- - SCIP Outpatient and SCIP Case Management Services
- FCCC Mental Health Outpatient
- FCCC Mental Health Case Management
- Youth Violence Substance Abuse Program
- City of Franklin Community Planning Management Team (CPMT)
- Southampton County CPMT
- City of Franklin Multidisciplinary Team
This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to improving mental health services for individuals and families in the City of Franklin and Southampton County.
Responsibilities & Duties for Clinical Administrator
- Provide administrative and clinical oversight for mental health outpatient services, ensuring high-quality care that meets the needs of clients.
- Oversee the mental health case management team to ensure compliance with regulations, effective service delivery, and support for clients with complex needs.
- Manage the operations and effectiveness of the school counseling intervention program, including coordination with local schools and educational stakeholders in the City of Franklin and Southampton County.
Program Development and Management
- Identify community mental health needs and design programs to address service gaps in the City of Franklin and Southampton County.
- Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of mental health programs through data analysis, client outcomes, and feedback from staff and stakeholders.
- Ensure evidence-based practices and culturally competent services are utilized across all programs.
- Oversee program budgets, resource allocation, and grant funding applications to support clinic operations and expansion.
Staff Supervision and Development
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise clinical and administrative staff, including therapists, case managers, and school counselors.
- Provide ongoing professional development opportunities, including training in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and other relevant areas.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations by way of weekly to biweekly supervisions, provide constructive feedback, and address performance concerns as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and staff retention.
Community Engagement and Advocacy
- Serve as the agency representative of the clinic on assigned local community boards and committees, advocating for mental health awareness, funding, and resources.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and government agencies to improve access to mental health services.
- Engage in community outreach efforts to educate the public about available services and reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure all clinical and administrative operations meet licensing and accreditation standards, agency standards, including HIPAA compliance and DBHDS requirements.
- Regularly review clinic policies and procedures to ensure they align with best practices and legal requirements.
- Implement quality assurance measures to monitor client satisfaction, service delivery outcomes, agency productivity measures and staff performance.
- Address and resolve client complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Crisis Management and Intervention
- Provide guidance and support to staff during critical incidents or client crises.
- Develop and maintain protocols for crisis intervention and emergency response within the clinic and school counseling programs.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, agency emergency services, and hospitals as needed for crisis situations.
Reporting and Documentation
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all services, client interactions, and administrative activities.
- Maintain up-to-date records for grants, funding sources, and compliance audits for agency and state requirements.
Strategic Planning and Vision
- Collaborate with leadership to set long-term goals for the clinic, focusing on expanding services and meeting the evolving needs of the community.
- Develop strategies to enhance service delivery, improve efficiency, and increase client engagement.
- Monitor trends in mental health care and incorporate innovative approaches into clinic programs.
Other Duties as Assigned
- Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as directed by the clinic's executive leadership or governing board.
- Act as the point of contact for crisis situations involving clinic staff, clients, or community stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills for:
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role.
- Strong understanding of crisis intervention techniques and best practices for children and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and maintain a positive work environment.
