Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate the activities of our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, ensuring that all crew members are working efficiently and effectively to meet project goals. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the Crew Leader actively participating in tasks while guiding their team. ***You must be located in Utah to be considered for this position.***
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5-10 technicians through example, be an ACTIVE member of the crew
- Knowledge of and ability to direct/train technicians on the following: Ground work, fixture preparation/removal/demolition, installation of lamps, retrofit kits, new fixtures, control devices, conduit, and electrical wiring
- Knowledge of 120V – 480V, 0-10V dimming, transformers, ballasts, emergency lighting, ability to take amp readings, LOTO, LED, HID, Induction, Quartz, ALL LEVELS OF LIGHTING
- Maintain project schedule and complete projects within customer/Project Manager expectations, including deadlines. Daily updates on all projects required
- Act as onsite Safety Director, performing regular meetings and ensuring compliance with all safety standards (Safety training/toolbox topics provided by manager). Daily completion of JSA’s required
- Great Customer Service skills, as you will be the on-site representative of the company
- Overnight Shifts
Qualifications
- 3rd or 4th year Electrical Apprentice preferred
- OSHA-10 preferred (must obtain within 30 days of hire, company-sponsored)
- Knowledge of 120V – 480V, 0-10V dimming, transformers, ballasts, emergency lighting, ability to take amp readings, LOTO, LED, HID, Induction, Quartz, ALL LEVELS OF LIGHTING
- Knowledge of LED lighting and LED lighting retrofit solutions
- Knowledge of scissor lifts, articulating booms, bucket trucks, man lifts, and scaffolding equipment
- Problem-solving skills in both electrical work and supervision of team
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills

- Knowledge of how to use email, smart phone, basic computer skills.*
