Manage and organize activities in the banquet areas and coordinate activities in the restaurant. Assists F&B Director in achieving department objectives by performing the following duties.
As a Banquet Manager, You Will
Directly supervise team members at the location, ensuring smooth operations. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Train, coach, and mentor team members to maintain high performance standards. Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient workflow. Assist in appraising performance and rewarding team members for their contributions. Address complaints and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner to maintain a positive work environment.

Job Description
Manage and organize activities in the banquet areas and coordinate activities in the restaurant. Assists F&B Director in achieving department objectives by performing the following duties.
As a Banquet Manager, You Will
- Manage banquet team members to include servers, bartenders, and runners.
- Oversee the timely service of all food and beverage events as Banquet Event Orders dictates.
- Interface with all convention clients to ensure satisfaction and positive feedback.
- Maintain daily logs and revenue flash reports.
- Oversee the bar departments and the bar porters.
- Supervise the successful execution to include setup, service, and breakdown of all banquet events.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels for all events and coordinate room set-ups.
- Prepare labor forecasts, and detailed floor plans and maintain training for all levels of banquet staff.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through direct communication with clientele.
- Maintain food and beverage par levels and rotate inventory to manage product freshness.
- Conduct regular meetings and training sessions.
- Communicate event details and responsibilities to staff, ensuring smooth execution and high service standards.
- Manage staff schedules, shifts, and breaks to align with business needs, budgeted guidelines, and service expectations.
- Monitor attendance and enforce company policies.
- Maintain quality control over food, beverages, and supplies.
- Oversee inventory, stock rotation, purchasing, and adherence to receiving procedures.
- Prepare revenue forecasts, operate within budget, and manage departmental records.
- Monitor beverage and cash handling, authorize discounts, and oversee check controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Conduct inspections and enforce proper handling of food, beverages, and equipment.
- Provide excellent service to owners and guests.
- Address guest concerns, authorize necessary adjustments, and ensure an exceptional banquet experience.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, invoices, and department manuals.
- Participate in company meetings and performance programs.

Qualifications
- 1 year of banquet experience
- 2 years of leadership experience
- Experience managing and coordinating large-scale events
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- General knowledge of bar service, wines, alcohol, etc.
- Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy.
- Follow instructions without close supervision.
- Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
