We are a rapidly growing Furniture Distribution company looking for a Warehouse Manager. Our ideal candidate needs to be an individual who takes the initiative and works collaboratively. Our goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Someone who is fluent in Chinese is preferred.
Responsibilities :
Plan and coordinate daily receiving activities to meet deadlines.Oversee the receiving process, ensuring all received goods are checked against purchase orders and inspected for missing or damaged items.Be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams by utilizing systems to ensure timely replenishment of stock.Continuously training and evaluating warehouse staffEnsure compliance with safety standards.Oversees tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods.Performs tasks in warehouse management software program.Load and unload materials to and from the designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets.Verify computations against the physical count of stock.Oversees condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in the correct location, etc.).Oversees material handling process, including receiving and filling orders.May drive the truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.Responsible for training warehouse staff on best practices, coaching, and counseling staffAssists distribution center operations managerPerforms other duties and assignments as directed by managementSkills & Requirements
2 or more years of proven Warehouse Manager experience.
Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
Knowledge of Warehouse safety regulatory standards.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Acts with integrity : Demonstrates responsible, ethical and honest behavior in all Westin Fulfillment LLC tasks and responsibilities.
Fluent in Chinese
Work Environment :
Works in an open environment distribution center in varying weather conditions. May be subject to dust and airborne particles.
