About the Role:
Are you a highly organized professional who loves collaborating and optimizing resources? As the Hospitality and Procurement Coordinator at Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay (WCCB), you'll be an essential point of contact for campus-wide procurement, working closely with teams to meet our community's needs. You'll be involved in everything from coordinating contracts to managing asset storage, all while ensuring the smooth flow of supplies and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management: Serve as the primary contact for WCCB’s procurement needs, reviewing product and service requests, and ensuring the best resolution path.
- Supplier Coordination: Identify suppliers, negotiate terms, and oversee RFP submissions to secure the best quality, pricing, and service for the community.
- Inventory Oversight: Help track inventory levels, reduce waste, and ensure the uninterrupted availability of critical supplies.
- Asset and Equipment Management: Coordinate with vendor partners for repair and maintenance of essential healthcare equipment.
- Invoice & Expense Accuracy: Oversee purchase orders, tally supply requests, verify invoices, handle returns and credits, and manage expense reports using ConCur.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work alongside our Nursing Team and other departments to meet diverse needs across campus.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Proven Experience: Familiarity with Brightly/Worxhub Systems and Cobblestone Contract Management Software is a strong plus.
- Organizational Skills: A natural multitasker with administrative prowess and excellent communication skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Google Docs, Sheets, and inventory management tools like McKesson Orbits.
- Dependability: Known for integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness in interactions with colleagues and vendors.
- Adaptable Problem Solver: Strong conflict resolution skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Team-Player Attitude: While you’ll often work independently, you're always ready to support the team and lend a helping hand.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required; some post-secondary education or equivalent experience is beneficial.
- Spreadsheet creation skills are an added plus!
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable with a mix of office and occasional outdoor settings.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
