Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Forman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete construction, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The Concrete Foreman will oversee all aspects of concrete projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of workers on concrete construction projects
- Layout jobs to blueprints and best practices
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily tasks to meet project deadlines
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other team members
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of concrete processes, materials, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Ability to properly layout projects with string and tape and/or Lica total station
- Stong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
