Job Title: Animal Shelter Attendant
Irregular Part-time

Sheriff’s Department
$12.00 - $13.00 per hour
- Considerable knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the control and care of animals
- Reasonable knowledge of the care, handling and habits of dogs and other animals
- Tact in dealing with the public
- Ability to prepare and maintain records and reports
- Ability to work effectively with other employees
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds on a regular basis to complete duties
- Ability to walk, climb and maneuver where physical mobility is required
- Ability to see and hear well
- High School graduation or its equivalent
- Possession of a valid Michigan Motor Vehicle Operators license
