Purpose / Summary
The Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator performs, plans, coordinates, and controls all facility maintenance to ensure proper safety, sanitation and mechanical functions for the facility including grounds, machining and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work closely with facility & maintenance manager to draw up and execute the fs organization's annual maintenance plan.
- Communicate directly with service providers, vendors, and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep the company's physical assets running smoothly.
- Evaluate maintenance requests, sets priorities and process work assignments.
- Establishes and maintains a reliable network of outside vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely support of the maintenance function.
- Works with Manager to engage and schedule subcontractors to perform preventative maintenance on specific equipment.
- Works with manager to help create PM plans in in the facilities / maintenance system.
- Supports the day-to-day operations of the department.
- Ensures that all Pursuit's policies and procedures are followed related to the performance of the maintenance function.
- Establishes and communicates the level of quality and safety expected in the performance of maintenance tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
