About the Position
We are seeking an LCSW or LPCC to provide acute mental health services to our patients at White House Clinics. The Acute Care Behavioral Health Provider will ensure same-day/next-day access for evaluations and provide brief mental health interventions to improve patient stability in the community.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have the ability to rapidly evaluate treatment needs, provide stabilizing mental health care, and make appropriate treatment plans for longer-term care. This position requires close collaboration with case management staff, psychiatric care providers, and other members of the patient's care team.
- Evaluate the mental health needs of patients experiencing an acute mental health episode
- Determine whether hospitalization is necessary and provide stabilizing outpatient mental health care if not
- Coordinate care for patients to address social barriers and establish an effective plan for patients' mental health care
- Serve as an internal resource for crisis evaluation and community supports available for patients with acute mental health needs
- Collaborate closely with the Behavioral Health Provider team, Primary Care Providers, Behavioral Health support staff, and psychiatric care providers
- Maintain timely clinical documentation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling (LPCC candidates must have 3 years of experience in a psychiatric setting)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

This position is based in a clinic setting, requiring frequent interactions with patients, staff, and the public.

You will be accountable to the Chief Program Officer.
Salary and Benefits
Starting salary: $61,000.
