Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Participate in annual capital and operating budgeting process. Utilize existing relationships to benchmark and ensure best-in-class performance and targets consistent with long-term strategic objectives.
- Update 5-year pro formas quarterly based on latest performance / market data and conduct corresponding sell / hold analysis.
- Maintain long-range capital expenditure models for each property in conjunction with VP of Facilities and Maintenance. Identify future reserve shortfalls and develop a mitigation plan.
- Develop and execute renovation plans to minimize capital investment and maximize long-term value. Coordinate with project management team to ensure timely execution that is within budget.
- Coordinate with property tax consultant to monitor property tax assessments and manage tax appeal processes.
- Manage and coordinate the due diligence process for property acquisitions and dispositions. Participate in negotiating key business terms.
- Support leadership with preparation for tri-annual Development Committee meeting and Board of Directors meeting.
